Dr. Nami Aljehani

Dr. Nami Aljehani is an accomplished academic, researcher, and leader specializing in cancer research, molecular pathology, and healthcare management.

He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology and Cancer Research from the University of Sheffield, where his research focused on the role of Transforming Growth Factor-β1 in colon adenocarcinoma.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Histology and Molecular Pathology at King Saud University since 2011, Dr. Aljehani has held several prestigious leadership positions, including:

  • Dean of the Common First Year Deanship at King Saud University (2014–2018)
  • Deputy Minister for Scholastic Affairs in Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education (2018–2019)

 

Dr. Aljehani combines his scientific background with leadership skills to drive innovation in education and healthcare.

He is a certified Executive Coach and Six Sigma Black Belt, having successfully implemented coaching-based performance management systems that have improved staff retention, quality metrics, and succession planning outcomes across multiple laboratory environments.
