Hajeer is a distinguished Consultant Clinical Scientist and Head of the Immunopathology Division at the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, with over three decades of experience in immunology and histocompatibility.

He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Manchester and has held significant positions, including Technical Director of the Stem Cell Processing Laboratory.

A co-founder of the Arabian Society for Histocompatibility & Immunogenomics, Dr. Hajeer is a fellow of several prestigious organizations, including the Royal College of Pathologists and the American College of Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics.

His research focuses on transplant immunology and HLA gene diversity, and he has authored numerous publications in renowned journals, contributing significantly to the field.

Dr. Hajeer’s expertise is complemented by his leadership in various laboratory inspections and his active role in advancing medical education through multiple publications and editorials.
