Dr. Alomar is a Supervisor General of the Infectious Disease Vector Research Laboratory at King Saud University, specializing in arboviruses and the transmission and control of vector-borne diseases.

He holds a Ph.D. in Vector-Borne Diseases from the University of Florida, USA, a Master of Science from Michigan State University, USA, and a Bachelor of Science from King Saud University.

With expertise in disease surveillance, epidemiology, and vector control, he leads cutting-edge research on early disease detection, diagnosis, vector management, and biosecurity to combat the emergence of zoonotic pathogens.

His work in high-containment biosafety laboratories has advanced research on infectious viral disease agents and their vectors.
