He is a clinician-scientist with extensive expertise in pharmacology, toxicology, quality assurance, patient safety, forensic medical services, and addiction research.

He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Toronto, complemented by a Master’s degree in Clinical Toxicology and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Ain Shams University.

Dr. Gamaleddin currently serves as the Coordinator/Member in all Policies and Regulations Committees within the Health Services Support Center.
In this capacity, he is responsible for writing and reviewing all regulations, policies, and guidelines governing clinical laboratories, blood banks, and forensic medicine services.

His role involves developing comprehensive regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, and overseeing policy implementation to enhance healthcare service quality.

With a proven track record in leading change initiatives, Dr. Gamaleddin has played a pivotal role in training quality officers and formulating accreditation plans.
His contributions to the forensic and toxicology fields include the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the authorship of guidelines and reference materials that have helped advance best practices.
