2ND TRENDS AND INNOVATIONS IN MEDICAL LABORATORIESCONFERENCE

Harnessing AI and multiplexed immunostaining to predict relapse in Cancer

Dr. Anand Jeyasekharan
SPEAKER

He is a Principal Investigator at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore (CSI), a Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist in the Department of Haematology-Oncology at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, and a Platform Lead for the Singapore Translational Cancer Consortium (STCC).

He earned his medical degree from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, followed by a Ph.D. in Oncology from the University of Cambridge, UK, as a Gates Cambridge Scholar.
He then completed specialist training in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology at NUH Singapore.

Dr. Jeyasekharan’s clinical and research interests are deeply integrated, with a focus on the treatment of lymphomas and sarcomas, as well as the development of personalized therapies for these complex cancers.

His research leverages clinical artificial intelligence and digital pathology, incorporating advanced spatial and imaging analyses to elucidate the interplay between tumour cells and the immune microenvironment, particularly in the context of chemotherapy sensitivity and resistance.
